“Girls are equally capable of working in any field and joining any profession. The natural flow of periods was explained to me in great detail with a presentation and a practical session to showcase absorption. I learned why it shouldn’t be considered a taboo and how period blood is among the purest.”

Myna recognized Tabassum’s zeal and willingness to learn new things and adopted her into the Myna Family. Today, Tabassum is a Myna Fellow and works in a full-time position at Myna.

“I learned useful life lessons through training sessions that included – How to use a laptop, Enter data, and Use an Excel sheet and am growing intensely with every ticking day. Myna Foundation had given me health kits that contained underwear, soaps, shampoos, a period tracker, disposal paper bags and especially – sanitary pads, something I could not afford at the time.

Overall, Myna has aided in my development into a self-assured and independent woman.”
