The Myna Mahila Foundation began in 2015, and to date we have manufactured over 500,000 pads, reaching women in 15 slums all over Mumbai. Our mission at Myna is to empower women to speak about issues they are most afraid to discuss aloud. We employ women from urban slums to manufacture and sell affordable sanitary pads back into their communities, improving menstrual hygiene, providing stable employment and building a trusted network.
