Myna Mahila

Ten years ago, in the slums of Mumbai, I met Priya. She had a painful vaginal infection—something easily treatable at a nearby clinic. But shame kept her quiet. She went untreated for over two years.

Not far from her, I met a mother who told me “respectable” women don’t work. She married off her 17-year-old daughter, Nisha, who later died of untreated cervical cancer.

In both cases, stigma cost them their lives.

That’s why I founded Myna Mahila Foundation—to help women speak up and seek the care, dignity, and choices they deserve.

Since 2015, we’ve supported 1.5 million women and girls with reproductive health education, access to care, and livelihood opportunities. We’ve treated 30,000+ women for conditions like PCOD and anemia, created 2,500+ jobs, and trained 15,000 community educators to pass on knowledge, woman to woman.

Our Rani Work platform has enabled women to earn ₹1.2 crore in flexible, AI-powered work. Our AI chatbot, Myna Bolo, now helps over 2,000 women access private, 24/7 health advice.

We’ve seen stigma give way to strength. Health misinformation drop. Conversations open up. Voices rise.

And we’re just getting started.

Over the next decade, we’ll reach 10 million more women, expand Myna Bolo into 12 languages, support 30,000 entrepreneurs, and bring AI-powered health workers into India’s most underserved homes.

Thank you for walking alongside us—through every quiet breakthrough and bold leap. Your support makes this journey possible, and our future brighter.

With deep gratitude,
Suhani Jalota

Myna Doctors on What Real Care Looks Like

Myna Mahila’s Dr. Shraddha and Dr. Rukhsar reflect on what truly matters in a consultation — and why empathy is at the heart of our practice.

For 10 years, Myna doctors have proven that love, privacy, and safety aren’t add-ons — they’re the foundation of true care.

Team Voices: A Day in The Life of Myna's Field Trainer - Sonali Kamble

In this short vlog, walk alongside Sonali Kamble, one of our dedicated Field Trainers, as she winds through the crowded lanes of Gautam Nagar — stopping in homes, sitting with women in their own spaces, listening closely, and delivering critical training on sexual and reproductive health.

This isn’t easy work. It means waking early, traveling long distances, navigating resistance, and holding space for difficult conversations — again and again, with compassion and clarity. Sonali, like so many on our field team, meets women where they are — not just physically, but emotionally.

Here’s to the entire Myna Mahila team — from field staff and doctors to operations, communications, finance, research, and leadership — whose labor, care, and resilience make Myna Mahila what it is.
