Nicole Coutinho is the Communications Associate at Myna Mahila Foundation. She completed her higher secondary in the Arts Stream, from St. Xavier’s College, Mumbai and went on to pursue her graduation in Social Work from the College of Social Work-Nirmala Niketan, Mumbai.
Nicole has been associated with the social sector in different ways, by doing internships at organizations like Rangoonwala Foundation (India) Trust (Jogeshwari) where she was engaged with the elderly in the slum to regain their purpose in life by setting up an elderly club, Tamarind Tree School (Dahanu) she worked on a nutrition project and tribal education, and Silver Innings- A1 Snehanjali (Virar) conducted programs for elderly with dementia. Nicole is also interested in the functioning of social enterprises, public health and women empowerment. She loves sports and spends her free time on artwork and music.
Nicole got to know about Myna through her college campus placement and feels blessed to have met Suhani and the Team of women who are an inspiration to her and encourage her to grow.
